Site updates

I’ve now added another image area in the grandly titled “Genres” section called “Infrared”. This is where I will place images taken with my recently modified Nikon 750 which has now been fitted with a 720nm filter over the sensor. This work was undertaken by the excellent Advanced Camera Services team who I would strongly recommend for this and other general camera repair work: https://advancedcameraservices.co.uk.

I’ve also installed a few “Gallery” pages with more images from my collection. These include some from a recent trip to Finland with ace photographer Michael Cartwright (https://www.michaelcartwrightphotography.co.uk) and a whole bunch of other great photographers. I’m now looking forward to trips to Venice and Budapest with him and some from the same group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/750818318398247/?ref=bookmarks).

Onward and upward…

Happy New Year!

Well we’re off now into the 2020 and I’m looking forward to a year of photo fun both here in UK and abroad. The first trip begins at the end of the month with 5 days in northern Finland where, hopefully, the northern lights will grace us with an appearance. Even if they don’t, I’m still looking forward to getting some good winter landscape shots.

I am also eagerly awaiting the return of my spare camera, Nikon D750, which is currently undergoing conversion for infra-red photography. This will give the camera a new lease of life alongside my D850 and I’m hoping it will be ready in time for the Finland trip.

Hope you all had a great Christmas and here’s to an even better New Year ahead. :-)

New site

Hi, so I’ve just launched a web site intended to showcase some of my stuff and to encourage discussion and feedback on any matters relating to photography. I’m no expert in web site design and I‘ve no doubt I will continue to make changes in the hope of improving its style and content. Your help and suggestions would be be most welcome in this regard.
